If my memory serves me correctly, Rufas parachuted into Peden a few years ago with the game ball and his head fell off in mid-flight and crashed on the field.  Could this head injury have clouded his judgement on Saturday?

Any Pictures?

Haha I remember that.  Wasn't it against Bowling Green?

I thought this thread was about how to tackle and how not to tackle the rest of the year.

I will have to search, but there is a close up of parachuting Rufus with his head in mid flight in the same scene.  The Bobcat has not jumped out of a plane or repelled since.

I had forgotten about this myself and then someone from the Wake Forest Board reminded me!

I have the picture but can't seem to be able to paste it here since it was an email attachment.

I was in one of the wings that day talking to someone and the head fell near me.  Knew it was a bad omen for the game!

Maybe someone who knows how to link it will send you a private email.  The reason the Wake Forest Board new about it was because I posted the picture after we lost.  That is one differnce between most Bobcat Fans/Graduates compared to OSU, we can at least laugh at ourselves and our entire world does not revolve athletics.  Sure we want to win, but we can keep things in perspective.

I think that is key, we can laugh and love.  I bleed the green and white and love my school, but life will go on tomorrow.  I show up to every home game (have since 1986) and cheer like crazy.  Some of the folks at those other schools need to get some perspective on their lives.

On a side note, the look on the little kids faces where the head fell were very funny!  Most everyone was laughing then saying, well this game is over.
