Permission had to be obtained from the NCAA for Peden to be used without charge, and they received the okay on Wednesday. Hopefully, Parking Services will not eff up this wonderful gesture on the part of the university. Schools can charge for parking at their home events for football and basketball.  In fact if you want to charge for parking for a play-off or tournament game you must charge during the regular season according to the OHSAA "Half the money I spend on advertising is wasted; the trouble is I don't know which half." In a world where "simulating game conditions" is prohibited, I'm not surprised the NCAA has to sign off on allowing actual games to be played there. Does anyone know if they are allowing the high school to run the concessions, too? Groups at Athens High School depend on their concessions for fund raising revenue.
