Absolutely. The five turnovers were bad, but not just that, special teams gets the punt block, instantly fumble it back over. Defense makes stop at the 1 and get stuffed in end zone for a safety. That is the stuff that worries me going forward. Defense, don't get me wrong they had plenty of mistakes today , but they could easily take the attitude of what difference does it make, offense is just going to give it away.

We defiantly have issues with the offense and hopefully can fix the turnovers ASAP. The defense could be good if they did not have to play on the field all game. This year’s OSU team is a exceptional. Their next challenge could be vs. Alabama in the Arizona.
Granted the team laid an egg today. It happens and this is already not OSU’s biggest victory of the season. There will be other Big Ten teams this season that lose by a bigger margin.
Was it worth it? Is this a serious question?
National TV exposure- (even with the blow out – still very valuable)
Sport Center Exposure All Day long
$850,000 for the budget
Well over 6K dressed in Green today
Very possibly played a regular season game vs. the future National Champions = great memories and experience for the team.
We played a horrible game vs. possibly the nation’s best team. However, you need to watch more college football. Marshall suffered a worse fate then us then almost beat WVU the following week. Bad loses happen in college football every week. Any form of National TV is good. Checkout the recruiting page...may be our best class yet.
This game was scheduled way in advance. Ohio State will not always be a National Title contender and one of these years another in-state team is going to knock them off. Minus two untimely TO’s and we may have got them in the midst of a four win season. I hope we get more opportunities. Someone is going to catch them at the right time. The in state team that does will reap the rewards. I want it to be Ohio. In the meantime, lets take the 850K and keep building. Frank and crew have done an AMAZING job with what was one of the nation’s worst D1 programs and one of the smallest budgets in the league. Yet, the past FIVE years have been the most successful five of the past forty plus years.
The past five years have produced two bowl trips and two MAC East Titles. Grobe never won a Division Title nor finish the regular season as a top two team. I do not think the basketball team has come close to a regular season title since 1994. Both MAC Tournament Titles were when we finished near the basement of the regular season.
The good news is the 850K can help pay for the lights and free ticket giveaways for the Baymont/Highlander Motel classic.
