What makes it even worse is that he referenced Ohio losing back to back games vs. MAC schools twice.

Mike Reghi will be dead in the cold, cold ground before he recognizes CUSA.

Not sure, Pete.  Looking at the painted on hair and taut skin profiles, he may already be there.

All those FL references, too.  Do they really bring a guy from Fla. to Ohio for Cavs braodcasts?  Forsget football, Thats only once a week (until Novemebr anyway).

I sometimes think he went to the Mussberger school of saucecasting.

On the other hand, you have the ESPNU midweek guys who do ABSOLUTELY NO research on the teams they cover.  During one midweek game last year they kept referring to Josh Cribbs as a BG grad.

While discussing fourth-tier broadcasts watched by nearly hundreds of folks, I'm going to use this opportunity to disclose my personal distaste for Ari Wolfe.

I wish someone would have sent a memo to the PA announcer at the game, who kept announcing that Ian Elmore was rushing the ball for the Bobcats. It was actually the other No. 26, the only listed as a running back as opposed to the one listed at safety.

I'll stand up for the guy because I am equally confused by so many duplicate numbers these days.  If rosters are limited to 80 (?), Why do ten guys have to share 5 numbers?  I am not aware of any retired numbers from Ohio's glory days.  Anyone else?

Is it a position thing - i.e. too many linemen not enough 70's and 80's - or, in this case 20's?

Actually, there are 117 players on the roster. I think they try to avoid giving two scholarship players the same number and they definitely try to avoid giving two guys who actually play the same number. Typically, there is only one player with a certain number who actually sees the field and the others are more or less scout team and practice players.
