The early line has us as a 7.5 point favorite.

Time to get this thing back to .500 one game at a time. While we did not score in the 4th quarter against EMU, I would not see that as a surprise. Frank goes into protect mode with a lead like that and I agree when you are on the road.

The way Boo is checking down to all of his options is impressive to me. When someone such as Luck does that for Stanford, he all of the sudden is NFL ready according to Mustyburger. The O-Line deserves some of the credit to give him some additional time. No doubt his legs create the rest.

Death, taxes, and losing at home to Bowling Green. I hope I'm wrong this week, but this Bowling Green team is dangerous despite its record.

I thought our D--LINE won the battle, at the line of scrimmage, last week particularly in the 2nd half. As the camera panned through the Ohio sideline you could see some emotion being shown by the members of the line, that's all good.
For some reason I think BG's O--LINE is better than EMU's  so this week will be a better test for our D--LINE.

Finally.

Ernie Hodge asserts himself in the 3rd quarter.

Notestine and Gatling also had a big game.  The rest of the year may depend on them....especially with Keller gone.  It would also be nice to see Myers and Scott back.  Jones and Huynh continue to impress with their limited duty.  Will Oxley finally make an appearance?

Stay tuned.

I saw Carlotta limping after the game so that is no surprise.

A.J. Strum had to be helped off the field....happy to see him not on the list.

This might be a redundant question and one I should know the answer to but is the live video of the game available on ohiobobcats.com?  Or just MAC-Access/ESPN3?

I thought a while back there was talk of streaming the games live but maybe that's just for home bball games.

BG has the worst D in FBS but they lead the country in interceptions.  They look pretty bad this year but they kicked the crap out of the Herd. Boo plays like Joe Montana most of the time and Hannah Montana some of the time. We're on track to finish with the same record as last year if we win out, but I wouldn't be surprise if we didn't win again.

It is absolutely time for the senior members of OUr defensive line to assert.  The rest will follow.

Football is only available through MAC-Access, which is a conference-wide deal.  Since the conference charges for this, they don't allow schools to provide their own video.

Basketball doesn't have a conference-wide streaming setup, so the rights default back to the schools.  Many of them charge for their webcasts, but we provide one for free.

Hope that clears it up for you!

In today's Toledo Blade, it says Schilz is questionable for Saturday. It also says that if Pankratz struggles again, they may turn to a freshman or true freshman QB. Apparently, the Falcons are also dealing with some OL injuries.

I hope we pull out the victory here, but this one is up in the air. Both teams have a good chance of winning. I dont really know how its going to turn out.

If the crowd shows up after a three game losing streak that is. Should be a decent one Saturday, I think. Weather is gonna be gorgeous, it's one of the marketing teams "Town Days," and its Parents Weekend. Im guessing there will be about 18K.

It's time.  It's just time for us to play a good, solid game on all sides of the ball.  We don't have to win by 40 but we should start off strongly, not let up much in the middle, and close the deal without doubt.

Six games in, it's time for our leaders and/or better players to assert.

YES!  This is definitely our biggest strength right now and we need them to take charge and set a high tempo out there!  Shut down the run.

I'll tell ya where we'll go. Someplace warm. A place where the beer flows like wine. Where beautiful women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano. I'm talkin' bout a little place called... ATHENS.
