Apparently after going up 27-7, we decided we felt bad for Miami and stuck our collective heads up the arse.

It's apparent Miami's backup kicker doesn't like winning.  1-4 on his kicks today.

Rooting for Akron is like cheering on the Taliban.

This is effing ridiculous. Feels a little too much like the 2000 game.

My point exactly! Here we go again, conservative play calling from the coaches. You got to put the nail in the coffin and take your opponent emotionally out of the game. We are just lucky that Miami is playing much worst, five turnovers is hard to overcome especially when you are starting to get momentum and it happens on your first play from scimmage.

Thank God for the OU Defense. Whatever stunts they are doing today is sure confusing the Miami quarterback. Hope our center Mitchell is not hurt too badly!

Yeah, we need to develop a better killer instinct.

Although, depending on redhawk to self-destruct is not overly risky.

Q:  What do you call a guy who ruins an 82-yard td by fumbling it away before crossing the goal line?
A:  miami sucks.

But you know it's a great day when you're limited in play calling because one of your QBs is dinged up and you STILL win by three touchdowns.

The O played well enough to win, although it's a bit disconcerting that a third of the offense came on two plays.

The D came up strong.  Even tho they gave up 300+ yard passing, they nearly doubled their INT total for the year with FIVE!

Miami University, 201 years of sucking.

We did beat a team with a winning record on the road today. I think that's pretty cool. With all the injuries to key players, OUr team depth is coming through, and the coaches are doing an amazing job. I'm thinking this is a pretty good team that is getting better. We win by three TDs, complain that we have no killer instinct, we don't run a hurry-up offense, we don't dominate in every phase of the game, blah, blah, blah? The glass isn't half-empty; it's half-full!

On the other hand I think our passing game regressed a little today. Of course, unlike EMU, BG and Akron, Miami actually has some players on the field for defense. We got lucky with the Riley Dunlop circus catch. Boo only had one pick, but could easily have had 2 or 3 more. We dodged a bullet today. Every time we made a mistake, Miami went into "anything you can do i can do better" mode.

As was proved out with the 82 yard play...It only takes one play for an offense like Fiami runs to turn things around quickly.  The responsible thing to do was burn clock and keep their O off the field.  Honestly considering our injuries, I couldn't be more proud of  this squad from the Coaching staff on down.  That's 7 MAC road wins in a row...This win was an away head to head for first place in the East against a team 3-0 in MAC play and we ROLLED!

Whatever we're doing...PLEASE keep doing it!
