Just like a QB not throwing into triple coverage. Hershey seems to have a knack of knowing how far he needs and whether or not he can get it. The Jets fake was a case of the guy not even knowing how far he had to go. It was like a receiver running a five-yard route on fourth-and-10. Or a player driving the lane for a layup down by three at the buzzer. Or a catcher lazily rolling the ball back to the mound and heading to the dugout with two outs and a runner on third.
