http://www.fanbase.com/Ohio-Bobcats-Football-1994 - you can change the year and see all the improvements we have made since Bobcat Love was on the scene...  If you like you can peak at what it was like before...  I wonder if Bobcat Love sat through the entire loss to Utah State 5-0?

Ahhh... who can forget that riveting victory over the Deaf and Dumb institute back in '87!

I stayed until the end as well.  I can confirm it was miserable.

Actually, the last living member of the west grandstand will receive a key to a safety deposit box in Springfield that contains the treasure of the Fightin' Hellfish.

Maybe we can get the Deaf & Dumb Institute back on the schedule for next year.  Makes much more sense to play them than New Mexico State.

I stayed to the bitter end for that game.  Soak and wet, not an inch dry on me.  Made my family sit through that, we came close to scoring a couple of times.  Rain seemed to come from all directions.

I was there. Stayed. Got soaked. Killed my Las Vegas Bowl hopes fairly early that year.

The Utah State game was my first Bobcat game. Still don't know how we never converted those 3rd and longs with draw plays.

I attended several games in the 90s as a high school student visiting my big siblings, and I don't think it was ever NOT raining.

Ohio had two TDs called back.  Either one would have won the game since Utah State never threatened Ohio's endzone.

* LB Benny King recovered a fumble and took it all the way.  Unfortunately an official ruled that King's knee grazed the grass (mud) when he scooped up the fumble.

* A lovely long pass to a wide open Ohio receiver went the distance.  Penalty.  Holding.

What made staying to the end bearable: the rain was warm.
