GO BOBCATS!
Getting votes in the polls, yes. Cracking top 25 or 30, probably not. The Cats started the year with about the third easiest schedule in the country, and it may have moved up a little, thanks to Wofford having a great year. But the Terd and Louisiana will wind up as sub-500 teams. Counting Wofford, the Cats are only 3-2 against winning teams. Temple and NIU at least played more Big Six schools, but have had problems getting votes. Temple's nonconference schedule was Penn State, UConn, Army (all with winning records) and a good Villanova team, and managed -- at best -- a handful of votes; NIU had Iowa State, Illinois and Minnesota, and has been able to do a bit better, thanks to being unbeaten in the MAC. And both Temps and NIU have the benefit of being in/near a major media market, which the Cats don't.

Even if we were 10-1 right now I'm not sure we would be in the Top 50. OUr strength of schedule is very weak.
