Hoops was a great year but in the past decade it was the exception, and not the rule. I'll admit that "Law of Nature" was a little strong so in the future, I will change the slogan and instead say: Ohio Athletics = Your high hopes are more likely than not to result in a gut punch. OK.  I didn't expect to beat CMU, so that didn't really count as a gut punch, but Marshall was pretty disheartening... I think most fan bases can say that.  Even if our teams don't win, we're still OHIO, and that's a pretty great thing to be. When you are winning more than losing it makes any loss tough. We are always wanting more but sometimes you just don't get it.
