I've been drinking Brainstompers all day...

After watching Texas get embarrassed last night with a bunch of Texas A&M alum here in Austin we all got together this morning for the 10am(cst) kickoff with a big jug of Brainstompers (ala The Greenery) to cheer on the Bobcats. Needless to say, this watch party wasn't as fun as the one last night, but the drinks did soften the blow a little. My screen is too blurry to read all the other comments right now but I hope that when the dust settles we don't walk away with a complete defeatist attitude like some other schools. *cough*Temple*cough*.

We should have won it, it was a classic trap game, but I'm not going to let today spoil all the good times I've had cheering on the Bobcats this year. I was in Athens for 5 years and we won 9 games, TOTAL. I'm not content with this season, but I'm not going to blow up because we only won 8 this year either.

It's understandable to be disappointed/angry/upset/frustrated but do we really need to fire up the 'So and So needs to be fired' threads, or the 'what do you epect its the MAC' threads, or the 'we suck we have a weak schedule' threads? I hope not. I'm proud to be a Bobcat, I'm proud of our seniors, and if we make it to a bowl I'll make some more brainstompers, invite over a gang of Texans, and Stand Up and Cheer until my throat is soar. Thanks for an exciting season Bobcats.

I'm a firing up the ole Ford in the garage. Gas fumes never smelled so good. Damn I just ran out of gas.

Best post-apocalyptic thread.

I knew it was gonna be a bad day when:

a. My wife's car alarm went off at 4:13.....5:22....and 6:31 a.m.

2. I realized I was sick as a dog.

c. My family left my sick arse at home for Thanksgiving and I watched the grand-dogs.

4. Couldn't go out for adult beverages but found some cheap tequila and Miwaukees Best Ice (that nobody would drink which is why they left it at my house.

e. The cheap booze didn't work.

6. I had a psychic vision (which came true) of The Columbus Dispatch (who had nothing on the Temple game) praising Fiami and lauding the demise of my Cats.

Not whining (isn't whining when you make fun of your plight).....Oh well.....I didn't die.

Drink up Shriners!!!
