The 2011 seniors have done extremely well for Ohio and I hope their futures are better for the Ohio experience.

Now looking ahead is there any info on those returning from injuries or the new faces that have waited out their time having come from another school or redshirted. A year is a long time. I would not be suprised to hear of new names in after Christmas or some deciding they will never make it at Ohio and moving on.

With all the linemen on the roster will there be any moves? Last year Strum moved from guard to tackle. Might McGrath or Prior enable Flading to move to center? I think I read a coach mention it would be where he would have shot at the next level. Just want the best five stating and spring will be time to sort out any shifting.

True.

Prior and Herman on the right side could be a road graders dream come true....Herman needs to dish the concrete overshoes on occasion...but those two could be awesome.

Flading at center is enough said....Lechner and McGrath and Strum played well at times....especially impressed by McGrath's success.

You talking about the same O-Line that just got man handled by Kent?  A Kent D-Line that had some youngsters in the mix?

Well no.....Flading at center and Prior at RT and Herman without concrete shoes.

Not real sure about the left side....but Lechner should be improved and McGrath has some promise.

Who knows....maybe even a new guy will emerge.....can't lose hope.

Plus the Nix kid was one we missed out on....a Carl Jones type......what's better in the d-line.....size or movement?

When I heard a coach mention that Flading, our best lineman, would be moved to center at the next level I began thinking about someone who might enable him to move to center his senior year. Nothing against Allen, but, every spring there needs to be a look at the OL to see if the best five are on the field. This year Strum moved to tackle for that to happen. Who knows it might even be Lechner to tackle and Allen to guard. I don't have a clue who the best five will be. The coaches will sort it out this spring, then like always they will keep it to themselves until next fall.

I would have to think 2011 looks promising. Easy non-conference schedule. Marshall. Miami,. and Temple at home. Doug Martin gone from Kent State replaced by a lessor coach. Young and promising O line. Noah Keller back at MLB. Phil Bates is back with experience. Donte Harden is back.

Most Memorable Bobcat Events Attended
2010 97-83 win over Georgetown in NCAA 1st round
2012 45-13 victory over ULM in the Independence Bowl
2015 34-3 drubbing of Miami @ Peden front of 25,086

Moving Strum to tackle I felt wasn't the best idea due to the fact I though he was the weak link on the O-line last season at guard. I felt this year he was once again the weak link on the line at tackle and matt mcgrath played better football than aj strum did. Now maybe Strum would be better suited at guard were he could be protected by the center and tackles, because not everyone is made out to be a offensive tackle

We need to play better competition and to absolutely thrash the weak sisters we do play.

No more downer games (FATMAN, columbus, stupd cow, kents this year).  It's time for this team to tough up and to play 100% of the games.

love wants better comp because he's excited about playing and seeing  [insert  your choice here of bigtime teams which will absolutely never come to Peden ]  in Peden.

I want us to play better comp so we get used to competing at the highest level.  Beating EMU, BG, 'kron, temples and a buncha other weak MAC don't help much.

I am thinking Strum did pretty good this year.  Named Second Team ALL MAC and Second Team MAC by Phil Steele....Go cut some grass Forrest....
