Author Message bobcat695 General User Member Since: 12/20/2004 Location: Parkersburg, WV Post Count: 1,345 Status: Offline     Ineligible Players?    Posted: 12/6/2010 11:41:58 AM  I have seen a few different references to players that are academically inelegible based on the end of Fall Quarter.  Has there been any word on who those players might be?  Although our players are ultimately responsible for their own actions, Ohio is at a bit of a disadvantage to most schools due to the quarter system.  Most schools would not determine football eligibility until after the first of the year. In basketball, this has actually worked in our favor in that players have become eligible in November as soon as grades were posted.  Unfortunately for fall sports, it works in reverse.
