This post will probably get moved or deleted, and I may be banned, but before the mods do that, please know I am an alumnus who has bled heart and soul with the Bobcats for years and I am merely presenting an option for frustrated and dedicated football supporters who are tired of the licensed crap that has been repeatedly shoved down our throats by Adidas, Russell and others who simply don't care or aren't paying enough attention to the fact that there are fans out there who want, and quite frankly deserve, a quality licensed football replica jersey that can be worn with pride to support our boys.

Also, please know that I have sent multiple e-mails to the contact email for this site administrator asking how to advertise here, with no response. So, this guerrilla attempt at promotion is a last-ditch effort to get the word out about something that the readers and posters here would appreciate.

Finally, mods, if you think you would like to bring in some ad revenue, I'll be happy to do this the right way if you just let me know how. Also, considering that bowl t-shirts are being promoted here, maybe you'll cut me some slack? I like what this forum is about and truly have the interests of fellow OU fans in mind.

If you are interested in a quality, OFFICIALLY LICENSED replica OU jersey that is faithful to detail and could be in your hands for Saturday's game, send me a PM or e-mail ASAP for details.

Bleed Green, Baby.

Go 'Cats!

Sorry guys, but either my browser or the website won't let me post an image. We are just getting the website built, so for now, I can send images only via e-mail. Send an e-mail to victorathletic@yahoo.com.

Thanks to everyone who has inquired so far.

Close, but not quite a replica (at least in my definition), the neck line and cuffs are the wrong color and the neck patch is not right.

Excellent observation.

For those that have had the same questions, please know that for reasons of wearability, we left the contrasting cuffs off of this version and without the contrasting sleeve cuffs, the white collar looked out of place. We did include a nod to the contrasting collar, however, by including a white stripe on the inside of the collar.

Also, note that this is the first replica to include the striped shoulder inserts that other makers have ignored, and also the first to include an embroidered Attack Cat logo on the collar. Most other makers have simply screened on the Arch Ohio, which as we all know has not been used as part of an on-field jersey.

We did strive to achieve the same style as the on-field jersey by including the diamond shaped collar tab with the logo, but it is a bit smaller and because we chose to go with a single color, we did make that green, as well.

So, your point is well taken. And while and we did make some concessions to practicality, and we are very proud of our results.

As a note to not seem to critical, I do agree that is one of the better ones I have seen.

Do you have real player names also? Could I get a Noah Keller jersey?

The selling of the names on the back is an NCAA violation....Now if you purchase a jersey and then go and have the name put on the back yourself, that is fine.  But you are not allowed to profit directly in the name of a College Athlete.

Hence ends my quest for a replica jersey.

I actually have (2) of the real deal jerseys.  Green one with a Pizza Bowl emblem, and a white game jersey.  Has the Players name and number on the back.  True collector items..... : )  I also have a game ball, comemorative Bobcat  mini helmet, and a MAC East Champ Ring (on loan til he's out of school).   All are priceless.....

I feel very fortunate to have a replica jersey that is true to the jersey detail. The only difference is that since it's two years old, the neckline is still jersey color instead of white. I got it for my birthday two years ago to wear to the Ohio/Ohio State game that year. I had seen it on one of the apparel sites featured on ohiobobcats.com and asked for it for my birthday that year. Since I got mine, though, I haven't seen any that are true to the detail of Ohio's uniform. It bothers me that  it is easy to get jerseys from many different schools, even schools that are from the MAC, WAC, Mountain West...etc. And of course Ohio State. You can get those all day. I think ohiobobcats.com has auctions on their site. I wonder if you can get a game worn jersey on there?

Unfortunately, as the other poster pointed out, we are prohibited by the NCAA from producing jerseys with player names, however it is possible to produce custom numbers. Please send an e-mail to victorathletic@yahoo.com, and I would be happy to provide you with that information.

Our goal is to do this exact thing, however some of the elements of OU's on-field jersey are difficult to reproduce in an affordable fan replica. I think you would find that our jerseys are of a very high quality and are a fair representation of what is being worn by players. Bear in mind that the big schools sell thousands of jerseys every year and they are made by huge manufacturers overseas with huge margins. These manufacturers have largely ignored niche fan-bases such as ours, and that's where we come in. We are producing jerseys in relatively small quantities and with the highest possible attention to detail. We think you would be pleased with a jersey from Victor Athletic, and we invite you to try one for yourself.

Thanks for the post. Finding any jersey merch at all is nearly impossible. Great to see a nice looking piece at a decent price.

Thanks for the information. I appreciate your offer; however, I am happy with the one I have now. In fact I'm wearing it right now since today is the New Orleans Bowl. The one thing I like about college jerseys is that since the name isn't on the back, the number represents someone else as the years go. Mine is #5, which was Kalvin McRae. Now it's a Phil Bates jersey. I also understand that huge schools can get large quantities of jerseys made overseas, but I've seen some jerseys from other MAC schools, such as Kent State, Western Michigan, and Akron. WIth that said, though, I'm glad that your company is helping to make sure Bobcat fans can "stand up and cheer" in a realistic Ohio replica jersey. It does look nice. Any chance you'll make white ones, also?
