My wife had Matt in class and says that he was a good student -- something she hasn't been able to say about each and every football player who has taken one of her English classes in the past.

Correct, Dragon, but she once had an academically challenged football player who was described by an assistant coach as "dumb even for a football player." This really happened. I'm not making it up. This was in the PapaL era.
