Is that Chase Cochran?

In this article our new Bobcat beat writer Michael Stainbrook claims that number 24 Chase Cochran (Wide Receiver) is tackling Donte Foster. Is that possible?

If this is not the case then this is the second time they've done this so far during Spring. They keep seeing numbers that have been assigned to two different players and claiming it's the wrong dude. Usually offensive players playing defense like the article above. Of course, Chase could have been reassigned to defense but I think we would have heard about that. The previous instance of this was a more obvious flub.

There's only 1 #24 listed but there are 2 corners on the Spring roster without a number so it's possible it's not Chase but in his defense he did say "tackled by wide receiver Chase Cochran"...

I'm sure he'll be fine eventually but you're right...Will was a good one!

In many cases the beat writer has no idea what photo is running with the story. My guess is the goof was from the photo staff and/or editor. An updated roster would have helped as well.
