pathetic. How long ago did we ditch The Bobcat for Rufus? Five years ago? 2012 edition of the game still has The Bobcat.

do not buy this game. (it also does not have our two best players, but that's something else entirely.)

I refused to buy EA's NCAA football until they created Peden Stadium for the Xbox version.

Honestly, I'd rather see Ol' Stoney than that ill-mannered Rufus. You wanna give Ol' Stoney a hug or bum a smoke off of him. You'd rather see Rufus squished on side of scenic Route 32...

Rufus... a poor man's MC Skat Cat... at best.

I don't endorse the furry lifestyle, but when the Bobkitten is involved things can change mighty quickly...

I've never upgraded my gaming system and still have a PS2. NCAA Football is the only game I'd be interested in and they didn't make it for PS2 this year. Now I'm glad so I didn't waste my money on it if they didn't even realize our top two players were coming back. It shows how little effort they put into non-BCS schools.

Peden and the surrounding landscape look great in this year's game. They even fire off a cannon after we score a touchdown sometimes. I don't even care that they just took the Texas cannon crew and changed the clothes form Orange to Green, its still cool.

And roster omissions are not a huge deal with so many downloadable rosters out there anyway. We are one of the best teams in the MAC without Brazill and Keller on the default roster, so when you add them we become a very tough team.

The dynasty mode is much cooler this year IMO with all the custom conference features they added in.

When I get back I'm going to buy the game. It's unfortunate that they have roster omissions every year, but all the team needs to do is hop into the top 25 and make EA look silly (I know they won't care anyways, but it'll be vindicating).

My PSN name is Budweiser_5. I'd love to play some OU students/alums/fans online. Just add me

I don't know if anyone's called this out in a post yet but The Situation's cross country ride is seriously fascinating reading!  I don't know about the choice not to wear a helmet Manny, but other than that I was riveted!  What a Summer!

+1000

I've retweeted him 15 times at least.  Sounds like he's seen some very interesting places and met some very interesting characters.

I've seen crazier things happen.

Speaking of the game, here's a repost from the NCAA 11 thread for anyone who wants to set custom Peden sounds in their game.

I still had these on my computer from last year so I threw them in a .zip and uploaded them.  I'm pretty sure I downloaded them on here so I take no credit for their creation.  It includes a text file that explains when they are played:

FirstDown:  Anytime the team achieves a first down.
HalfMod:  Played after a touchdown, after a failed FG by the away team, or after a defensive stop on 4th down.
Mod:  Played after a PAT, 2-Pt Conversion, or Safety
Funk:  Cadence played at kickoff, tackle for Loss, or a penalty on the away team.
Monkey:  Cadence played while defense takes the field after TD.
Sevenandhalf:  Cadence played on a defensive stop on 3rd down.
Foreplay:  Played on defensive 3rd down.
Mr. Crowley:  Played on defensive 4th down.
Aintbeengood:  Played on offensive time-out.
Suac:  Played on defensive time-out.
Longtrain:  Played at beginning of 4th quarter.

To add them to the game:
    • Burn all mp3s to a blank music CD
    • Insert disc into Xbox/PS3 and rip music to hard drive
    • Create and name a playlist for each song
*Note: Each playlist can only contain one song
    • From the MY NCAA 2010 menu, select Custom Sounds
    • Create a new event and select team, event and playlist.
    • You must save your profile after creating Custom Sounds

The game is really cool when you add the sounds in.  Peden looks great, except they STILL haven't updated the scoreboard to feature the video screen.
