On getting the interception:

“We were in base defense and the quarterback said it slipped out of his hand, but they always say that. I played my assignment and came up with the pick. I thought I should have scored but I was tired from the heat.”

Usually post-game quotes from athletes and coaches are stocked with banal truisms. Finally, a man that says what's on his mind!
