Ok.... so I'm starting to suspect everyone has figured out our offense at this point. Maybe I'm just panicking early, but our run game is getting stuffed and that's very disappointing.

Also, I swear Paul Hershey has been roughed at least three times this year and I don't think he's garnered a flag yet.

That is why you need points Frank.

Our O-line is the part of our game that is still healthy and experienced. Buffalo's D line is freaking dominating us.

Great Run by Tyler - shades of Kareem. It means absolutely nothing if our D can't step up and string together some stops, though.

That's what I was getting at...3 potential points on a FG attempt (which we know he can make) looks like it could be key in this game.

At least the D showed some pride on that stand, but Buffalo is stupid for not trying to hit us between the tackles even once. What were they thinking?

We've got a bunch of backups on the DL (now Carl Jones is gone). Keller is a shell of his former self...Benjamin can barely walk. Hughes is gone...

sigh.

Bates in the doghouse or just not a part of the offense today?

I realize transitive scores don't mean all that much, but they do mean something. NIU doesn't seem to be having any trouble scoring on Kent's "tough, physical" defense. Matter of fact, we're the only team that had any trouble. Most of what I'm seeing indicates to me that we are likely the 4th best team in the MAC.

Great drive to open the half! I'm a little concerned that we only ran it once. I feel we'll score enough to win. This game rests on our Defensive adjustments.

Story of that game is Kent's anemic office -- 30 yards. Northern has 165 yards split evenly passing/running with senior Harnish 11-13 for 75 yards. NIU is 3-10 on 3rd down thus far. Ahead 30-3, though.

HOw does NIU have only 165 yards and 30 points? Def scores? special teams?

Now THAT'S a good gimmick play. Great block by the Gridiron King...

I don't endorse the furry lifestyle, but when the Bobkitten is involved things can change mighty quickly...
