Why does the author think the U. of Houston is irrelevant to the national conversation? They're in the top 20 and have the number one pass offense in the country. Also, he said the Bengals stink, but they're solid.

Oh, right, it's Bleacher Report.

I knew Eastern would be the worst. I recall back in the early 80's, i think it was 1982, I attended the OU-EMU game at their old stadium. It was more like a high school field and not a very good one, at that. I'm being completely serious when I say there were only about 100 people that attended that game.

The Bengals still stink as a fan draw.  They haven't had a sell-out all year and last week's game was their best attendance yet, 52,000, about 80% of capacity.

I've never really understood the point of the "worst" lists.  One web columnist has a weekly "bottom 10" list that is usually well (?) represented by the MAC.  Why humiliate teams or schools by pointing out their obvious shortcomings?

We will get by.

Okay, let's look at the first paragraph of this story by the writer, " Autumn Saturdays in America have become a tradition. Baseball may brand itself as America's Pastime. The NFL claims it the most popular sport in the nation. But it's college football that drams millions of fans every single week of the season". You really can't take these kind of subjective stories seriously. Sounds like someone had a deadline and pulled something out of their a@%.

A deadline? It's Bleacher Report. They have deadlines as much as we have deadlines to post replies on the message board.

LOL, Sorry for my ignorance . It just didn't seem well thought out or have any real basis for the rankings. It's like when someone put out yesterday a list of the most macho cities in America. How the heck do they come up with these stupid list?

It's just a bunch of everyday people hoping to be writers Many will never be paid to write in their life. If you wanted to sign up, you could write your own version of that story. What's frustrating is they have done enough SEO work to get high on search results as if they are an actual news outlet. Some of the stuff is alright, but most is stuff that belongs on message boards as far as quality goes.
