Slate.com has a really good sports podcast called Hang Up and Listen. This week they discussed the controversy surrounding bowl games and some of their good-ole-boy operational procedures. I found it enlightening. 

They opened the discussion with Paul Hershey's tweet and then mention a little about the potato bowl and what a great game it was. Anyway, if you've consumed every last bit of information regarding this game (as I have), then here's something new. The segment starts at the 20:30 mark.
