As a USU fan, it was really hard to lose that game after leading all but 17 seconds of it. For some reason we always seem to be on the wrong end of last second comebacks, not really, but it seems that way.  But I am happy for you guys and your school.

I live in Indianapolis, how far is it to Athens, OH?  I may come out for a game next year, would like to meet some Ohio fans if I do.  What kind of a team are you expecting next year?  My Aggies are playing the Badgers up in Madison so I will be going to that one.

Go Bobcats!  GO AGGIES!!!

Thanks. Sorry about the loss. It really was important for Ohio to finally win a bowl game. The Bobcats led by 20 in the MAC Championship Game and lost so we know that feeling. All four losses were close. I'm sure if you came to Athens for a game, there would be plenty of people who would like to meet you and you'd be welcome at the BobcatAttack tailgate. I think it'd probably be a little more than four hours, maybe 4:15, from Indy to Athens. Good luck to the Aggies in the future.

Classy post, you're welcome in Athens anytime!

If you talk to one of us old farts over a beer, we'll tell you about the most insufferable game in Ohio history.  A 5-0 loss to Utah State here in Peden Stadium in a constant downpour.  It was before artificial turf and was a real "mud bowl."  So you guys can say your 1-1 against us in bowl games.

Close loses are really hard. I went to 10 games this year and we lost 4 all by close scores.  Your great fans and the city of Boise made this bowl the best one by far that Ohio has ever been to.  Winning was icing on the cake. USU fans will always be welcome in Athens. Wish you guys luck in the future

Thanks, for the kind words. I look forward to coming to Athens for a game in '12. Hope to meet some of you.

The close losses are hard and we had several this year where we were wining going into the final minutes (or seconds) Auburn, Colorado State, and BYU. The BYU one really hurt, it would be like you guys having the Buckeyes on the ropes and losing.

Anyway, Congratulations on the bowl, win. Hope to see you have more.

Well, we did a few years ago.  A "muffed punt catch" was all that stood between us and victory over the Evil Empire a few years ago.  So, we feel your pain.
