Best of luck to Pete, if true. Quite a long time in Athens.

Any idea what job he's taking?  Big loss for the Bobcats, but hopefully a nice step up for Germano.

Pretty sure this also means Athens High School just lost its starting quarterback for next year.

Well the Bulldogs got lucky when Bubba moved in.  Win a few and lose a few with the move in game.

I think it will be interesting to see where Frank goes with this hire. Does he go the Dixon/Collins route and hire an established DL coach who has been let go? Maybe someone even as experienced, and seemingly overqualified, as Jim Heacock or Larry Johnson? Or does he go with young blood, maybe alums like Kevin Carberry, or even Andre Parker from the HS ranks.

Heacock I've heard to the Illini.....Johnson probably to another Big 10 school.....Carberry would be my choice.
