One of Ohio's finest ever -- both on and off the field.  I hope he makes it big in the NFL.  He'd be a great ambassador for THE Attack U!

Glad he's able to make the combine.  It was earlier announced that he wouldn't be there because of the injured knee, but apparently he's ok now.  Good luck, LaVon.

Lavon has worked his tail off to overcome the knee injury! Not sure anyone couldve have kept him out of that Bowl game..he is for sure an Ohio Legend!! Sunday is when the WR's workout at the combine should be on the NFL network.

How does that compare to other wideouts times and sizes?

Lavon's arm reach and hand size are actually bigger than some of the 6'3 and 6'4 wide outs. Think he works himself into the 3rd-4th round with a good pro day.

Nfl.com is reporting Brazill with a 4.48, which is #14 among wideouts listed.  Searchable list here:

Contrast that interview to this one:

Got to love, Lavon.  I couldn't have said it better myself:

Q: What do Ohio players think of Michigan coach Brady Hoke referring to Ohio State as “Ohio” when you guys are the real Ohio?

A: I don’t think they like that. It’s a rival for us. They’re right down the street and we don’t like them and they don’t like us. We don’t like to be belittled. We’re already a small school but we want to represent big. We want to compete with Ohio State for the state of Ohio.

And, that ladies and gentlemen is actually progress.  It wasn't long ago that the Dispatch would have never said that we were the "real Ohio."  Hoke may turn out be a blessing in disguise.  IMHO, he really ought to call 'em "Ohio A&M."  Also, it wasn't long ago that we didn't have too many players who would say we want to represent the State of Ohio.  My buddy Todd Snyder would have back in the day, but in recent years we were lucky to have players that wanted to represent their dormitory!
