Petrino has been a scumbag for years.  I remember his first year at Louisville when he flew to Auburn during the season to meet with Auburn when they were considering firing Turberville after having been Tuberville's OC for the previous four years.

I'm torn between whether the Bobby Leyman "Wheeeerrrrrre's Bobby????" or the Hank Hill "Damn it, Bobby..." is the better humorous response to this news.

Also, a prediction: Unless they win the SEC East this year, Tennessee cans Dooley at the end of the season and hires Petrino.

As a casual Vols fan I hope this is not the case.  Hopefully they learned a lesson from the Lane Kiffin fiasco.

As a casual Vols fan, I hope this is not the case.  I would think they learned their lesson on something like this after the Lane Kiffin fiasco.  Phil Fulmer doesn't seem so bad now does he?

I guess they would not be interested in Cleve Bryant?

If the Vols didn't learn their lesson with Lane Kiffin surely they got it with Bruce Pearl. Lying seems to be quite the resume enhancer in the SEC though.

Bobby Petrino had an affair with Ann Coulter?

He is a perfect fit to join the Akron staff of Tressel, Bowden, Amato, Sandusky and Petrino.

No doubt. All Fulmer did was win a national title....

Point well taken Brian.  My main point is that both Petrino and Kennedy time and time agaiin exhibited the same behavior but yet both continued to be supported by many in the public.
