I was wondering what the band played for the halftime show as well as post game on saturday? One thing most of the folks I have seen from psu liked was the band. Saw a lot of great comments.

AC/DC's "You Rocked Me All Night Long" was the dance piece. You can see a video of them performing Stand Up & Cheer on the field after the game on the Marching 110 Facebook page.

In the basketball facility the 110 played Light up and Cheer

At half they played Learnin to Fly and You Shook Me

Post Game they played hup da bump (red hot chili peppers) Train of Thought and of course Long Train Runnin

The 110 may also have been seen marching between the pre-game basketball facility event and into the football stadium and did a little "funk" to the drum cadence. (this is one of my favorite things the 110 does and if you haven't seen it you should follow them from New Baker to the TailGrate Park some home game to catch some excitement)

Some folks at PSU who sat behind the  band didn't enjoy the 110's style of standing the whole game so I understand the 110 was asked to sit

I remember when the 110 was told they weren't allowed to stand up at all during the Sweet Sixteen game, and a few people had words with an usher who went off his rocker when no one listened to him.  For Christ's sake, it's a sporting event, and if the students can't stand and cheer their team, there's a problem.

I remember the NCAA having rectal tightness when it came to the band in Providence, too. They do things that make sport less fun.

Oh man, I hate listening to fans complain about standing fans. I went to the Virginia Tech game a few years ago and besides getting a nose bleed from my seat which was right next to the Mir Space Station, I was told a number of times to sit down. Conveniently it was by a VT fan when we were playing very close.

Unfortunately this is a problem at just about every stadium I go too. There are 43 schools that play varsity football in ohio and I believe I have been too just about every one in the last 6 years as well as a  few in michigan ,Indiana, and west virginia. A common theme is usually the seniors (I am one myself) complaining about people standing. I always like being near a younger crowd because they don't often complain. Many times there is a part of the crowd at any game that is just at the game to pass the time of day or because it is a status thing to have tickets.  Look at what the MAC did in 2007 by saying student sections couldn't be behind visiting team benches. The MAC knows the crowds now behind the opponents won't bother them. By the way does any other league have that silly rule? I love road games because you normally are with fans that are much more serious about football(they wouldn't have made the trip otherwise) and they are standing and cheering sometimes the whole game. It doesn't matter where you are, ohio , michigan, a&m, d2 , d3 whatever. I have been too them all and the problem is the same. There are maybe only three schools  I have visited that this is not a problem and those are  the  College of Wooster and University of Mt. Union. and Marshall. Even at the Akron game last week I had problems with people telling a few of us too sit down. This with maybe 5000 at best at the game(opening game with 5000). Thing is road crowds are usually the most rowdy and the most fun. Only trouble is the band usually doesn't make the trip for any school. One last thing you will never have this problem at a Michigan hockey game. Rowdiest and best college sports crowd I have ever seen. If you don't stand you will never see the game. Easily the best student section also.
