Was watching SportsCenterU this morning and they were talking about the past 9 months for Ohio athletics. Mentioned the bowl win, trip to sweet 16 and now this years Ohio football team. Said that something special is going on and being built in Athens, Ohio.

That was a nice graphic and I'm glad somebody took the time to come up with it.

But I really got tired of the ESPN talking heads spending five or ten minutes on how lousy Penn St played and then the only comment about the Bobcats was "But Ohio is a good team."  It reminds me of the people who say a minority is "intelligent" or "articulate" with the unspoken phrase being "for their race."  What the talking heads are really saying is Ohio is a good team ...for a MAC team.  Ohio is a good team...period.

Assume it was the same one I caught a screengrab of during halftime of NIU-Iowa.

Herbie was showing the Bobcats some love on Thursday and Friday.

He mentioned several times that Penn State was a feel good story and that folks wanted to see them win. He also went on to say that was not going to be an easy task. Frank has the Bobcats pointed in the right direction and that Tettleton was the real deal.

Then he turned around and picked Penn State to win on College Gameday.
