OU Black Football Jerseys

I'm new to this site and quite frankly new to message boards altogether, so bare with me if I should go violate posting etiquette. I'm trying to find out two things: (1) are the black football jerseys available for purchase right now? if so how do I order; (2) if they are not on sale is there a website I can monitor to know if they do go on sale again?

I always seem to miss the boat. Every once in awhile I remember I want a black jersey and google search for one, only to arrive at a page on the OU athletics website stating the sale period has ended.

Help please!

I don't know if your wanting an exact replica black jersey with like shoulder pad room, like an actual jersey, they use to sell those but I don't know where now and days, but College Bookstore sells a replica as well as Follett. Follett's jersey has a 4 on it, College Bookstore has a 1 on it, I'd checkout their websites. Hope this helps.

The authentic replica black jerseys that you could order with a specific number have not been offered again since last season. There has been no information on whether they will offer them again as far as I know. But as the previous poster stated both of the main college bookstores on the corner of Court Street carry the standard replica black jersyes that just came out a few weeks ago.

I try to avoid doing this, but since I was asked about it directly:
#1 black replica jersey is available online here
in both adult and youth sizes.

We did #1 for two reasons. First because we knew Follett would have #4 and second because very shortly we will have traditional green jerseys with #4.

Also, FYI, we're also working on a "PICK YOUR NUMBER" program for the black replica jersey. You'll be able to order the same black replica jersey as shown above but put any number you want on it. Stay tuned.

The green number 4 jersey is nice, but is obviously not a replica of the Russell jersey. Why in the world won't Russell provide you a true replica jersey like Nike does for all of it's bigger universities. I'm sure you guys could sell a ton of the true replicas. I would be happy to pay a few extra bucks to have a true replica jersey. If Ohio is now one of the bigger "fish" in the Russell pond I just don't understand why they don't provide us with a better product that fits more nornally than an actual players jersey.

I suppose it has to do with the viability of the product nationally for the collegiate retail division of Russell, but you'd have to ask them. Rest assured, though, that we will carry them if/when they are available. Russell, by the way, is a great company in my opinion.

I had heard our contract with Russell will expire soon. Is this true? If so when? I'd prefer a contract with Nike or UA to secure true replica jerseys

Wow you must have been off-grid for the last week or two, last week we got word that Russell signed a new 5-year deal with us and the Athletic Dept made it official this week with a news conference they posted about on ohiobobcats.com.

The newest black replica jersey available at College Bookstore looks to be the best replica yet. The pick your number version actually has the green numbers that match the actual jerseys from last year. Finally what looks to be a true replica is available for Bobcat fans!
