According to ESPN, there are eight Bobcats on NFL teams' active rosters this summer:

Dave Zastudil & Landon Cohen -- Arizona
Mike Mitchell -- Oakland
Taylor Price -- Jacksonville
Julian Posey -- NY Jets
LaVon Brazill -- Indy
Phil Bates -- Seattle
Noah Keller -- St. Louis

Colts | LaVon Brazill returning punts, kicks
Thu, 09 Aug 2012 09:20:38 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR LaVon Brazill is working as both a kick and punt returner in training camp. "They've got me at both right now. I'm looking forward to it. Special teams is the most important thing in this organization, so I want to just make my mark as a special teams player," Brazill said.

Jags waive Taylor Price. Price has been injured and I think can go on IR if he clears waivers.

Interception by Mitchell.  Torico says a "Second Round Draft Choice" and then forgot where he went to school and never filled in the blank.

Torico's a bit of a schmuck, anyway.  The replay was just shown going into a break during halftime, which means that it's one of the first half highlights.  Of course, the defenses have most of the highlights so far (0-0 at the half).

The announcers had a slam on us when Pryor was in.  He tried a run and it didn't go anywhere and their comment was "Not playing the Ohio Bobcats anymore".

Coach Solich should be playing that on a loudspeaker at practice.  Put a little extra chip on their shoulder for Penn St.

I'll take that as a good thing actually.  He just picked random generic Ohio MAC Team to fill in the blank there, BUT, he picked us - not Toledo, or BG, or Miami or Kent, or Akron.  While it's obviously a slam, it does say that we're at least a team that people have heard of now.  No chance he would have said that 10 years ago because nobody would have any idea who we were...

I think Mike Mitchell could've caught him .

Julian Posey seeing a lot of 2nd half action vs. Giants tonight.  Mixed bag so far: called for pass interference; nearly had a pick; has been around the ball a lot.

Posey seemed to be around the ball often, and was hittin dudes HARD. Especially for a small corner.

Rumor has it that Austin Collie is dealing with another concussion, sucks for him, but could be the opening Brazill needs to play with the 1st team.

Update on the front page of Rotoworld:

Colts sixth-round pick LaVon Brazill has played extensively with the first-team offense through two preseason games, catching five balls for 63 yards.

Brittle-as-ever Donnie Avery has missed both preseason games, so Brazill was working as the Colts' third receiver until Austin Collie went down on Sunday night. Another concussion for Collie could threaten his season, so it's time to start taking Brazill seriously as a fantasy sleeper. A pre-draft favorite of Rotoworld college guru Josh Norris as well as Rookie Scouting Portfolio's Matt Waldman, Brazill has looked very smooth in August while clearly outplaying fellow rookie T.Y. Hilton. Andrew Luck is obviously ready to play in the league, and his receivers are going to be productive. Brazill could be a starter.

Congratulations Lavon..   looked great on KR and did an exceptional job at WR.   Besides some great clutch catches I saw some real nice blocking down field too.

Sadly, opportunites come at the expense of injuries... so you never know when your time to shine will come...

Keep up the good work Lavon,  (I will wear a little bit of colts attire under my Bengal stuff on sundays)...Don't tell anyone.
