It's a nice video, though you left out the play where you all roughed the punter a few plays before he took off. Ah well, it should be a good game. Marshall, like everyone else this year, will be gunning for Ohio.

For Marshall fans that missed the roughing the punter, it is at 1:27 of this video, and you can tell Hershey is not happy. The roughing the punter was just 5 plays earlier, and no doubt still on his mind when he elected to take off. In fairness to Marshall, it doesn't appear that Marshall was attempting to hurt Hershey..

Wow, that was the roughing the kicker call I have been hearing you whine about? You guys acted like we tried to break your kicker's legs. Our guy tried his best to catch your kicker and prevent him from falling.

You can justify your fake punt all you want, but if you are blaming it on that play, you and I both know you are lying.

As was explained in another thread, that punter often took off on his own initiative during his couple years as punter. Per one source, he was told by the coaches that if he elected to run, it better work or there would be consequences. He made the first down the first 5-6 times he decided to go for it, but he finally had one not work against Kent, and got to run laps at at 6AM.

I agree that it wasn't an intentional roughing, and that no one was trying to hurt him, yet you can see from the video that Hershey was not happy about being hit while in the air. All we are saying is that the play was not a fake punt called by the coaches. It is what it is. Marshall fans act like Ohio was trying to run up the score, but the subs were in the entire fourth quarter, and even by the third, Ohio had basically stopped passing.

In the end it doesn't matter. It will still be a game on the field tomorrow, and both sides will give it all they have. I expect a very physical battle.

From memory, I think the all time crushing by Ohio was 88-0 versus Rio Grande. So, why only predict 86-0, why not 89-0?

Regarding the fake punt, you should be glad that Paul didn't hurdle someone.

For example, this game against Miami in 2009 and then again against Akron in 2010.

Rooting for Akron is like cheering on the Taliban.

The only part of that video that wasn't shi**y quality was the first part stolen from Evan Shaw of Ohio Athletics. Your guy cut and pasted grainy TV screen shots while ours was winning Emmys and moonlighting for NFL films every Sunday. What the heck are you guys using all your CUSA money on?

Other than the crappy quality for the clips, it just showed the team all dancing around doing stupid hand gestures. Is this seriously how your team gets pumped up for a game????
