Anyone know if there's a game watch in Columbus?  Any bars get an ESPN3 feed and put them on a big screen? Gresso's?  Should I call there?

I would be shocked if a Columbus bar would try and stream the game and then project it - Gresso's would be the only shot that I could think of, but I would somewhat doubt it due to logistics involved and it being this early in the season against an unknown opponent.

If I have to drive to Athens and watch at the Cats Eye, I will do it.

Gresso's has always been very friendly to non-yuck fans. I'm going to try to call there tonight.  However, it will be annoying anywhere since the yucks play at the same time.

A lot of bars in Philly show the ESPN 3 games. I'd be surprised if you couldn't find a place in Cbus that will put it on one of the smaller tvs, even if they are showing osu on the big screens.

The only issue with the streaming of the ESPN3 feed, is you have to have someone that has the online account with a cable provider that would allow access to the ESPN 3 feed....to my knowledge not just anyone can get on espn.com and watch live sports..you have to prove that you have a cable provider that has an agreement with ESPN.

Your best bet, and this is what I have done in the past...even last year in Athens while having a reunion weekend with some college buddies over the weekend we played at Rutgers......we went to the CI and I had the bartender use the computer that they use for their music and logged into my TWC account and thus opened access to Watch ESPN...We then HDMI'd that badboy to one of the screens behind the bar.....

Just make sure that after the game you log yourself out and even after the day maybe even change your password to your online account.

Gresso's said they cannot stream the game in C-bus.  Lame.

If they aren't with TWC, it may be out of their hands.

To be fair they could stream it via firstrowsports if they really wanted to.  Quality is worse than direct from ESPN3 but not by much.

Most bars have DirecTV, as they should if they want to watch college football, the NFL or Major League baseball.

Which begs teh question... Why has there been no arrangement with DirecTV subscribers who pay to get ESPN using their accounts to watch ESPN3?  Makes no sense.

That site is dangerous.  Rife with viruses and you never know what will pop up.

Because ESPN3.com is a site streaming over your internet connection. It's all about your internet provider.

That college in Columbus also plays at 3:30, so good luck getting anyone to turn the game on even if they have the capability.

I'll just be sitting in Columbus using my Power 105 app to stream the radio broadcast of the game on my phone.
