Every week someone posts the attendances from all of the MAC games, and every week I'm shocked as to how bad these teams draw.  We are consistently at or near the top, despite having one of the smallest stadiums in the conference.

I wanted to look not only at average attendances, but how full stadiums are on average. I made a spreadsheet which I will update each week to see how the schools compare: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AiqHK_aRVjCBdFppMkkzMzVjQ3FRNDYySW5VVjNRQWc

Here are some takeaways I found:
-Peden is averaging 96.68% capacity so far this season, by far the highest in the MAC. The second highest is Dix Stadium at Kent State at 89.70%.

-As one would expect, UMass has the lowest % capacity at 17.91%, but EMU isn't too far behind at just 22.62%.

-Our average attendance of 23,203 is good for 2nd in the MAC, behind only CMU. CMU has the highest attended home game of any MAC school, drawing 35,127 against Michigan State (most of those in the stands were probably Sparty fans).

While I don't think it's time to add more seats to Peden just yet, if we continue to pack the house week in and week out, it could be a real possibility in the coming years.
