This was a bad season for him. After some other issues, he was definitely making an impact on the field, and now this. Well, I hope he can be back next year, and have a great year.
That makes seven players now out for the season: Matt Prichard, Sam Johnson, Mario Dovell (I wonder, can he get a sixth year?), Travis Carrie, Sebastian Smith, and Jordon Thompson. Worse, it seriously depletes the secondary, which was already depleted. He was the last of the expected pre-season starters still able to play.
With luck, if they get by Akron, some of the guys that are dinged up but still playing will get a chance to heal during the Bye week, and be back close to 100% for Maimi. With a healthy Wells, Fisher, Ingol and Moore back, combined with Bass, Kristoff, and Carpenter, who I think are still healthy, the secondary would at least be passable.
