I've sat  with and around his family at several road games they are very proud of him and a great family. In addition to all his football highlights I remember in St; Louis last year he was leading the students cheering giving it his all. He is a perfect example of what a student athlete should be at Ohio.  Saying a prayer for the best outcome and a quick recovery. Class act Jordan!!

Like Travis, Jordan will continue his leadership role as a Captain for this team as they work towards their "Unfinished Business" goal.

During my final days as a Bobcat my roommate had the pleasure of hosting Jordan. As most know OU recruiting visits could be brutal with the university home on winter break. In walked Jordan Thompson with a smile on his face and very calm demeanor that would guide him through out his career.  When offered the hard press of typical recruiting temptations he politely turned down the foolishness, and instead said lets talk about about this program and where it is going, and that is exactly what we did that day.  He walked his talk and was an example from day one.  Thank you for your stewardship and sacrifice in such a pivotal time to be a Bobcat!

How can you not feel bad for this kid? One of those guys who did absolutely everything right both on and off the field, and then this. I sometimes think the reason things like this happen to people like Jordan is because they can handle it better than others. He'll come out of this like it never happened and live an amazing life.

And he was one of the leaders for Athlete's in Action that helped many Bobcats find faith.
