Just checking in... wow nice season so far!  Do you think you can stay undefeated for the whole year?  Looks like Kent State might be the only challenge?

Nice job!

That is the mystery question. It's a real test to Ohio's depth, because there are a lot of players out with injuries. Injuries have been particularly harsh in the defensive backfield. All the projected starters at CB and S before the season are out for the season except one, who, while also out, should return later in the year. Most of the backups have some form of injury, too.

All told I think 8 players are out for the season, and another 10-15 are dinged up. If they can survive Akron, which they should, they get a badly needed bye week, and hopefully they will get 5-10 players back for the stretch run. At this point both the Ball State and Kent games look like they will be difficult, but in the MAC, you can lose any game at any time.

Congratulations on your first Big East win. Good luck to you, too.

Yes, good luck to you and give the MAC more payback on your time in the conference by beating one or more of the Rutgers, Louisville, Cincinnati opponents you find remaining on your schedule!  Beat all three

Who knows, perhaps the confidence built in matching wits with Temple has helped the 2012 Bobcat edition.  The team falls behind, keeps its composure, sticking to the game plan and has tallied the wins in these situations.

Glad Kamal Johnson waited to get arrested for whupping his girlfriend while in the Big East and not the MAC, looks to be those city teams that have the most trouble with malcontents.
