Well, a win is a win as they say, although I wish Ohio had a killer instinct.  But, being a lifelong Browns fan, I will never ever complain about a win!!!!!!!

Now that we have a two week break, can Ohio get healthier?  I keep reading that if we could just make it to the break, we should get healthier.  My question is, realistically how much healthier can Ohio possibly get?  Who's going to come back that hasn't been playing so far? It seems to me that a majority of our injuries, or at least the serious ones, have been season-ending ones where a one week break does us no good.  I don't know, it seems to me the Ohio that played Akron today is pretty much the team that will be finishing out the season with no real changes, unless I'm missing something.

Anyway, I'll take the win.  Ohio lives for another day.

Getting Scott and McQueen back would be huge. Plus you have to realize that most of the WR crew is banged up as well.

I think it's more than just getting players back from injury. It's about a mental break for guys who have been grinding for three months straight. And I like this coaching staff getting two weeks to put together a gameplan.

This break is exactly what Ohio needed.

Exactly.  Having 2 weeks to prepare for Miami's offense will be big.

When I lived in Cleveland I hated driving on the 480 bridge.  Not only was it 700 feet off the ground with two foot guardrails, but it seemed like every lunatic on the planet chose that bridge as the place where he/she would prove his/her lunacy.

The outside guardrails are a little higher now but it's still the same crazy bridge.  (insert joke about meeting place for Browns fans here)

Will G. Moore be available?

Of course, Fiami also has two weeks to prep (they're off next week, too).  I don't think prep is needed so much as healing time.  Need to get back some of the guys who've been too dinged up to play but not so dinged up to sit for the year.

Besides the ones that have been actually missing the games, a lot of guys have been playing, hurt. An extra week off is going to make a huge difference for them.

They can't spend 2 weeks on Miami, because they have short weeks. After MIami, they play again in 5 days, then 6 days after that. They are probably going to spend some of this two weeks looking at film of BG and EMU.

There's a reason there's an @i480bridge Twitter account, and it's not because of the view.

Frank said post-game they were really going to take it easy this week as far as practice goes. Players won't practice and can't even lift Sunday through Tuesday. They'll condition Wednesday and practice Thursday and then get the weekend off before resuming a normal routine Monday of game week.

Solich also said something to the effect of that he expects the only player he expects they'll get back for the Miami game is Gerald Moore.

Moore would be the most important one to get back. Having a leader in the defensive backfield to make sure everyone is lined up right is critical.

Hopefully Carl Jones won't get himself kicked out of the game either, leaving an already injured D-line with even one less player available.

...and how often has that happened in his career? Yes, it shouldn't have happened, but there is no reason to treat it as more than it was.

Carl will want to play Miami. They have given up 22 sacks. He will want to help add to that.
