Just make sure when you are walking around to try and eat at the booths that are sponsored by the local churches, schools and service organizations.  They need your help and most of the food is better.

Is the concert Thursday at 7 or the parade? If not the parade, when is the parade? Thinking of taking family there if the time is right.

Looks like they play from 7 - 7:30 then the parade is at 8.

This is the Parade of Bands night, great parade but it does tend to be long.

I have to say that I sometimes leave town during part of the Pumpkin Show.. This year I have made a point of being around.  The 110 is coming to town and that is reason enough to stay.  There is a lot of buzz about their visit.

As has been suggested, if you are coming to town try to eat at one of the local organization's booths.  This is where many make their entire year's budget.

Also, it is my understanding that one single business is sponsoring the Marching 110.  The Savings Bank is the corporate sponsor of the Pumpkin Show AND the sponsor of the Marching 110.  I will be switching my banking business to the Savings Bank next week!!

This is the Parade of Bands...A great parade to attend..

There are not as many of us around here who only wear GREEN AND WHITE but I will be one of those few proudly displaying my Bobcatness.  Sadly, there might even be a few disappointed when they realize that The Most Exciting Band In The Land is not tOSU band.  However, the will realize that it really is the best damn band in the state.

See you in Circleville.  Have a beer at TOOTLE'S, GIBBY's, GIO's SHIFTY'S, The MAIN STREET PUB, The Elks's or any of the other local establishments if you are so inclined.

GO OHIO

Might have to borrow the above highlighted phrase when describing the 110 to fans of osu inc.'s band.

I looked for you on the church parking lot and saw several cammo caps but could not locate an Ohio U one. It was a very nice sized crowd.and the 110 was well received. The zealous fan shouting "MIAMI SUCKS" was right behind me. I enjoyed his brashness but Mrs. Oldcat thought it was not in good taste. He got a lot of funny looks from the non-indoctrinated. Got a kick out of the Savings Bank CEO calling the 110 the best band in the land.

Nice crowd....almost too big as there were at least a half dozen rows of people in front of me....all tall guys....I wanted to get closer but the misses said I was acting rude trying to work my way closer....taking empty spots is rude?......a knee to the groin now that's rude......when the CEO said the best band thing I swear I heard some of the buck nuts boo....of  course  it might have been my imagination or too much carnival food.

The 110 were well received in Circleville.  The locals were impressed and it was great seeing all the green and white in this land of Walmart OSU fans.    If you stayed for the entire parade it was pretty evident which high school bands have directors who are 110 alumni.  Had to be pretty neat for them to be following the 110  while doing the 110 shuffle in their own right...

The Savings Bank CEO is an alum of Ohio University so his remarks as the best damn band might not have been a mistake :)

One of our friends (whose husband is an Ohio alum) said she still doesn't like to watch the 110 but likes to listen to them..She said she just doesn't think "that is real marching".  Of course she was in the Fiami band ...now it all makes sense.

The Miami band uses flip folders.  They can't even memorize their music.  And their marching style requires no physical exertion.  Hahahahaha, real marching...

It was definitely no mistake on his part however, he said "best band" not best damn band so there was no copyright infringement.
