A little different this time. Us winning plus:

1.) Knock out the two loss teams (moves us up one rank):

Tenn. beating South Carolina
Washington St. beating Stanford
Auburn beating Texas A&M
Nebraska beating Michigan
Kansas beating Texas

2.) Out the one losses ahead of us.
Wake Forest beating Clemson
Kansas State beating Texas Tech
Arizona beating USC

3.) The big ones:
Penn State beating Ohio State
Kent State beating Rutgers

BTW, Boise State's schedule is hurting me now

That's the best bet. Or Ohio wins out and beats a top 25 or top 20 Toledo team in the MCG and Penn State climbs into the top 25 and then get bumped ahead of Boise in the BCS.

Boise losing to Nevada would be ideal. It's after the MAC championship, so they wouldn't have that "Win and you're in" pressure that Ball State probably felt a little bit (even though they wouldn't have been in).

Maybe they'll have altitude sickness at Wyoming next week.  Go Cowboys!

One thing about Boise though, just look at the computers.

A&H  RB  CM  KM  JS  PW
OHIO:     19    NR  NR  NR  17  13
Boise:     23    14   21   NR  NR NR

We are pretty high up and we haven't hit the hardest part of our schedule.  If we keep taking care of business, the computers should love us more and more.  In addition, if we get to the MACC and play a 1 loss West team I don't even think the voters will rate Boise over us.  That would definitely look better than a win for them over Nevada who just took a loss to SDSU.

So we should probably be rooting against Michigan State and BYU every week

Michigan State can become a worse loss for them
and their big win is against BYU

Wyoming will be without their head coach...who is not a big fan of Troy Calhoun.(Warning: some use of non-profane words.)

Honestly, I was very concerned about Boise a couple weeks ago.  I no longer am...  I think we will leapfrog them IF we remain undefeated.  The rest of the MAC is doing it's job.

Actually, if we beat Miami and OSU loses to PSU, I think we leapfrog them this week.  If it is a close game against Miami, I am not confident in this.  If we whoop them though along with a PSU win... Yep.

I've seen crazier things happen.

I'm more concerned about Kent State.  They're beating #15 Rutgers at Rutgers 35-23 right now.
