Watching the game on CBS Sports Network. The cameras showed a wide shot of Edwards Stadium and the place is 80% empty and this was a huge game. UCF having their way with them. CUSA is flat out terrible and only going to get worse with departures to BE. If ECU leaves for BE CUSA is dead! I look for Marshall to end up in Sun Belt.

Neither staying in CUSA nor joining the Sun Belt seems a very appealing future for Terd.  Both will be really lower-tier 1A conferences, not at all what Terd wanted when they bolted from the MAC.

They screwed up big time selling their soul for the "Big Time CUSA". They belong in MAC but pride will never let them admit it so now the the once proud program is withering up and dying in the most screwed up conference in America.

While I was in Chillicothe eating dinner and drowning my sorrows with a tall beer, I received a call from one of my best friends. He and six others had been kicked out of The Joan because a mall cop said he saw them pour liquor in their Cokes. They were framed, but said they would gladly leave anyway because The Herd was down 27-3 so he was fine going across the street to the bar. Maybe that happened to 10,000 others too.

You were watching the game late in the third quarter or the fourth quarter? The game was over by the time you starting watching and it was played in a cold rain. The fans left the stadium by the time your turned it on. Attendance was 22,564, which I agree is terrible for Marshall. I would think most of the OU fans would be thrilled to get that many at game in Athens on a cold rainy night if you were in the midst of another losing season?

Our attendence, if you adjust for stadium size, would need to be 13,000ish.  Not sure if we would draw that well given Marshall's circumstances.
