Lots of bowl games tomorrow which means the day after will feature a whole new group of portal candidates. From good teams with winning records. Guys who were h.s. stars but recruited over by (name of power conference team here).

25 players from Iowa State have announced for the portal. A record? Florida up to around 20 guys. Memphis at least 12 so far.

Getting plug and play guys should be no problem.

You are correct.. the portal is loaded.

The portal may be "loaded", but remember, demand for portal players will be twice normal this year, due to double attrition. Remember, players who started in 2020 have used up their Covid year and 5 years, while players who started in 2021 have used up their five years, and get no covid year. The amount of available talent in the portal will start high, but get drawn down very fast.

Now that we can focus on the Transfer Portal...

Certain positions of need that come to my mind would include:

1) Interior D-Line (big guys who weigh 300+ lbs.)
2) WR / TE (We should get halfway decent options here)
3) RB [?] (We have Brune, and then young guys who are unproven)
4) Kicker (Well...)
