On BA I'll expand to include SEO from what I perceived him to be referring to Athens folk. Not a whole lot of discussion needed just trying to figure out the constituent representation on the board. But, I have Meigs County, Gallia County, Mason County (WV) and Putnam County (WV) family roots that go back to the late 1700s. As such, I strongly identify with my Appalachian heritage. Many of my values are consistent with those of similar background. I was born in Athens, Ohio (St. Mary's Hospital in Nelsonville, Ohio to be exact), and I grew up in Athens proper (Putnam, Athens Middle School, and Athens High School), until graduating from Ohio University at the age of 21. I am still in contact with the folks I went to elementary school with and beyond that, and I still have Hocking River water running through my veins, even though I only come back for brief visits from time to time. Oh, yeah, I am a Bobcat and a confirmed hater of Miami University forever.
