I just read where Kent is selling courtside seats for $1,000. Not sure what amount is tax deductible, etc, but it does include some perks, like keeping your seat. Anyone think Ohio fans would snap up 60+ of these seats if available?

Where would the seats be?  Not really feasible in the Convo unless you are taking away seats from the Ozone which I would be against..

The only option would be seats at the end of the court...  I wouldn't pay $1000 for that, if I had $1000.  I'd much rather sit in the seats opposite the O-Zone.

I've seen crazier things happen.

For a 1000 Bucks you should get a seat on the Ohio bench.

My seats right behind the team bench are already $340 ea incl Bobcat Club - so $1000 not that far a stretch really.............

I dont know...$1,000 is almost 3 times as much as $340.  I'd call that a stretch.

The point McBin is trying to make here is we Bobcat fans are blessed with extremely reasonably priced season tickets.

Season ticket prices here are a joke. You're not going to find a better value for the product you get many other places in the nation when it comes to college basketball. The Hoops Action package and the Family pack pays for itself before conference play even starts. Even if you only came to the weekend games it would still pay for itself. Amazing.

Actually, the family plan pays for itself by attending just two of the 18 home games (plus two exhibitions). Four tickets at $15 each is $60 a game, so go twice and your family has saved $11.

Yet the faculty member who sits in front of me at Peden, and who laughs at every mistake the Bobcats make, was complaining to his friends last week about how high our b-ball ticket prices are.
