Great idea from the ticket office, at a great price for those who can't make it to all season events. Just wondering: Is there a certain deadline that these have to be ordered by?

$16 more gets you those cheap season tix. Tons of Saturday and Sunday games this year. Should be some big crowds at the Convo this season.

Yeah I know, but the Mini Packs allow you to sit anywhere. Plus, the one I planned on ordering was the only 4 games I could fit into my schedule, as I'll be working at Xavier games again this season.

The sections available for mini packs are sections 201, 205, and 206.

Last time I checked the ticketing website I could get them in the 100 levels. Unless they've already sold out or the seating has changed.

I do like the idea of these as well, but it does seem you'd be better off getting the whole season for just a little more.

Living in northwest Ohio, I always see ads for Toledo. They always have ticket offers that blow ours away. They have one that is $55 for the season and you get a $25 gift certificate to the Rocket Store, $30 consession vouchers and a season parking pass. They had a similar deal for football. The seats, of course, are pretty high up, but still.

If we had a deal like that, I might be tempted to get one even though I live three hours away and probably can't make it to more than 4-5 home games.

I'm going to guess that people who purchase the Hoops Action season tix tend to sit wherever they want as well.

The 'action' sections were definitely disproportionately more full last year, so you know there are a lot of people sitting in that section. But I'm sure just as many are sitting in better seats - unless the ushers started checking tickets.

When was the last time that an usher actually stopped someone to check tix? Does that even happen?

I'd hate to say because I really don't remember if it happened last year or not. I think it's because I enter below the main concourse.

Whether or not they check them, I'm sure I would move if that were the case. I just thought it would be nice to sit in my assigned seat I actually bought in a better section.

No matter, a fellow attacker informed me that the ticket website had an error that needed to be fixed, which is why I was going to be able to purchase tickets wherever I wanted.

Was just discussing buying season tickets with my wife with the possibility of sharing with her family and came to this conclusion: The youth tickets essentially are free.

Hoops action and family pack are the same action. Hoops action tickets are $55/person. So you can get two adults into all of the games for $110.

Or you can get the family plan and add two youth tickets to the equation and actually spend only $109.
