Atlanta based kid. My guess is that he ends up at Georgia or Georgia Tech.

I guess if you like kids who fight their teammates, go for it.

We like ones that fight doorpeople at bars, so why not?

Great reasoning.

I don't mind taking risks on possible trouble kids, but if they have already established themselves as a cancer, no thanks. Especially two months into his college career.

And I'm sure Bassett will be brought up, and I think we're lucky he stayed on the team as long as he did.

actually I think we're lucky he only stayed on the team for as long he did. I appreciate all he did for us in the tournaments but we lived and died by his streakiness.

Anyone can get in a fight at a bar - this kid is a real work of art:

One day: pulled off the court during practice for disruptive behavior
Next day: mouthed off at a Memphis coach during the team's shootaround - leading to his last suspension.

All of it came after Pastner had reinstated Kendrick this month from a two-week ban on team activities so Kendrick could deal with a "personal matter." While Pastner never called Kendrick's two-week absence from the team a suspension, Kendrick admitted a condition of his reinstatement was seeing school psychologist Jane Clement three times a week.

Also didn't join team in Bahamas early because of persona issues.

Pastner is a player's coach.  If he couldn't connect, no thanks.

I'm not advocating going out and getting the kid, just facilitating the discussion based on the precedent set by Armon.

I tend to vote with those who would pass on him.  Although he seems to be trying to confront is problems for the first time, he has a long way to go.  In the meantime, he could be a real disruptive, like Randy Moss or Terrell Owens.  I think that's the last thing Groce wants in his locker room.  No thanks.
