I disagree, Love. The question we should be asking ourselves is how to best maximize fan interest and attendance. While I agree that more home games are better than fewer home games, and that weekend games are generally better than weeknight games, that does not mean that Saturday and Sunday games are both equally desirable. There are a number of reasons why Saturday games are preferable, many of which have been stated in this thread. Of course there are sometimes valid reasons for scheduling games on Sundays. In the case of some of the non-conference games, we may have needed to schedule the games on Sunday in order to accommodate the visiting team's schedule. However, whenever we are given the choice, we should almost always schedule a game on Saturday rather than Sunday. 20 home games is great, no doubt. But just because we have scheduled 20 home games does not necessarily mean that we have scheduled each of those games in a way that will maximize their benefit. And as long as we are striving to expand our fan base, that is an issue that we should be open for discussion.
