Last week agains Valpo it once again seemed that the best tactic an opposing team can have is to save as many timeouts for the end of the game so the Bobcats have to put the ball back in play from out of bounds.  If within shouting distance this is the best opportunity to get back in the game.

I was at the game and listening to radio broadcast.  Russ stated that this has been a problem for 2 years plus 4 games.  What is the solution to this problem?

I agree, it has been pretty terrible.  Remember the MAC Championship?  Ugh!

The solution - Study film of why we suck at it, then practice different ways to stop sucking at it.

I feel like I see this thread on every single team's message board.

Dragon, this probably is more of a problem than it used to be across the board.  Clock stops after basket, teams rely on certain players throwing the ball in gives other teams time to set up defense, and in my humble opinion the reliance of athleticism over learning fundamentals.

The three point aspect of the game has changed so much of the coaching philosophy. It is hard for an old-timer like me to think in terms of today's nuances.
