Reggie Keely with his head completely up his azz in a lane violation. Even before Sayles releases the foul shot he wasn't  even lined up properly. Then steps into the lane early. 4 turnovers and a lane violation with no points. Groce needs to bench him the rest of the half. His head isn't in the game. Bobcats playing dumb basketball today.  Groce needs to lite a fire under Keely at the half. Baltic with two travels. Bobcats are asleep today.

We are playing awesome defense right now we should be up 10 or so points if it weren't for all the turnovers and dumb mistakes....still a lot of game to play

Ohio has stunk on the offensive end in the first half. The Bigs seem totally lost. Someone do4es need to wake up Devaughn Washington, he is sleeping through his senior season.

Both Freeman and Washington are having bad senior years. This team could use Coleman's penetration but his immaturity took took him off the team. Freeman and Washington need to wake up or else we will have to wait until next year. DJ needs to value each possession and Keely and Baltic should not be allowed to touch the ball unless they are three feet from the basket.

Sloppy on our end too.

But we're hitting the free throws we're given so not doing too bad I don't guess.

We are... Marshall!

Groce needs to get in the jocks of Washington, Baltic and Keely at the half and wake them up. Terrible half for all three. None are paying attention out on the floor. They are not focused today. Sayles is about the only Bobcat to show up on that front line today. Marshall is not a good team from what they showed today. Ohio is playing poor again at home. This team takes games off. The defense is ok, but this team has no clue on offense. With the talent and experience on this team we should be struggling to score 23 points at home in a half.  Quiet half from the freshmen today, but that is what is expected from freshmen. Keely, Baltic and Washington need to play better for us to win.  Can't sugarcoat the crap performance by those three in the first half. They should know how to play basketball without travling and lane violation on a front end of a one and one. Ohio should be up ten on these clowns instead we are down 4 at the half.

Second half not looking much better. Baltic just looks silly and Sayles chucking up a 3 early in the shot clock. Any example of coaching would be nice at some point on the offensive end.

I dont know where our points are going to come from this year. If Ivo is our #2 scoring option its going to be a real long year.

A three guard look of Cooper, Freeman, and Kellogg has got to be better than this current garbage on the offensive end.

How many shots within 2 feet can Devaughn miss? I think we are up to 5-7 today. Continued suckage as a senior! Add a stupid foul to that!

All of of our seniors are having horrible years except Sayles. Baltic and Keely should both be coming off the bench. It is still early in the year and the team can reverse course.

Just a joke in every aspect today. From starters, to seniors (all of them), Bigs, and especially coaching. No heart, no guts, to huevos! I'm really sorry anyone paid to watch that crap effort today. I actually feel bad I wasted two hours on this crap today. Why is Sayles on the floor? How many layups can washington miss in one game? How bad can freeman continue to play? Groce has been terrible with this group so far. 2 losses at home (already) and 3 straight to Marshall.

As a family member of a player, some of you thin skinned OU fans really amaze me how you personally attack players, coaches, administration, etc.

ITS STILL EARLY IN THE SEASON ALREADY!!!

Have an opinion, but have some class while you criticize.  Or get your butt out there and play the game for them!  NOT!

LOOK AT MY NAME AND DO THAT WHYDONTCHA!!!

LOL!

If I had to describe each of our 6 seniors and sophomores with a one word adjective, here's what I'd use. I'll refrain from listing the name of the player that matches each adjective because the point is to not call out individuals, but to show how these parts add up-

- pouty
- confused
- overeager
- listless
- timid
- beastly

not exactly words you'd use to describe a pre-season favorite. I hate losing to Marshall because of their superiority complex. Hope we don't wait till March this year to find our groove, this team has a lot of potential.

I think that Kellogg should  see the floor a bit more.  Having he and Cooper out there together seems to provide a little more space.  I would start Cooper, Kellogg, and Freeman at this point.  Sayles coming off the bench can help with defense and rebounding (and little offense here and there).  Also, as bad as we have been with defensive rebounds, I am surprised that we havent seen more of Jacobs....I guess that ankle injury is holding him back?

You advocate class and then make that post? About 25% of the season is over. The "It's Early" crap is B.S.

Family members should not read message boards.  Most of what I read is for purely entertainment purposes, but just thinking that a family member is reading these comments makes me think you have no confidence in your family member who is playing.  Enjoy your relative's years as a college athelete, those years are fleeting.  ps - I watched the game via gametracker in Paris, Fr, tonight, bummed that we lost, not enough fouling out there!

These young men are playing defeated, you can look at them and tell.  And for sure each of them is disheartened by the nastiness of some of the comments here.  They are young and don't have the wisdom that we adults (should) have.

So, while you vent and have opinions, do so.  But try doing so with care.  Just because you have a mouth doesn't make it right to spew any and everything from it.

Discretion folks....discretion.

I think the anonymity of the internet gives folks bigger balls than usual.

you're kidding right?  family members are fans too and we enjoy keeping up as well.

oh and it has nothing to do with confidence.

some of you folks are true jokes....lol
MUCH OF THIS SILLINESS I EXPECT FROM THE OPPOSING TEAM YET IT COMES FROM OU "FANS"???

I don't think anyone has to back off when our best players are consistently missing 2 foot layups and easy tip-ins.  They go to OHIO for free to make those shots, and I don't think it is out of line to expect a little more out of my school's basketball program, especially when I know that we are capable of beating much better teams than we LOST to today... Not much passion out there from anyone today, IMO.

I agree that personal attacks on players is in poor taste, and will say so when I see it, but as fans it is appropriate to speak about individuals' performances on the court. Like the saying goes "criticize the performance, not the performer".

My advice to you is if you see a personal attack here on a player then you should address it directly.  Your broad based defense in bold, hyper color is a general statement, I can't agree or disagree with you unless you speak to specific comments. No need to yell, we will read your post but right now you're being hyperbolic and nonspecific.
