“The score of this game is very deceiving,” said Saint Francis head coach Don Friday. “First of all, credit to Ohio and that team, they are very good and they will do well in the MAC. But I thought that we made some progress tonight. We executed very well, but some shots didn't fall for us. We got nice contributions from some younger players, and it was nice to see Will hit some shots from the outside. We will get back in the lab, and we're excited to get back home for a big game against a good Drexel club on Saturday.”

I like the guys approach, gives credit, thinks his kids made progress, all positive to and about his players.  Especially with a young team that can be important.

I must have seen a different game.  "The score being deceiving" and "we executed well"--I missed those parts of their performance.  This was a no contest and as inconsistent as we've been, this was no more than a scrimmage.

Sems like consistency is our real problem.  Loss of KVK and true frosh playing a lot of minutes, I'm guessing.  But it's time for that excuse to vanish.

Also, from what little I've seen, we use reversals and back door little...but I spose that if guys can't  master the basics of the offense and defense....

Some of us in the section behind the visiting team gave him a round of applause for his pep talk in the huddle during the last minute of the game... "WE'RE GOING TO USE EVERY SECOND!!! EVERY *BLEEPING* SECOND OF THIS GAME!!!"
