One thing most of us agree on is that Temple is the biggest draw we have had in the Convo in a while.  The casual fan that comes to an OU game once every 4-5 years was coming in for this one.  There was a nice crowd considering the students are gone and it is 3 days until Christmas.  Why on earth was the halftime show an exhibition game of New Lex elementary students?  Also, I liked the times last year that the lights were turned out and a video was shown before the OU team introductions.  That cannot be that hard to coordinate each game.

This would have been a great opportunity to bring in something with a little more flair.  I am there for the game and could care less what the halftime show is.  However, the casual fan would have been well-served to have something entertaining.  We missed a chance to impress folks.  Atmosphere is important.  I sat next to Archie Griffin tonight.  He and his wife were very nice, but they did not seem mesmerized during halftime by the action.  I hope he can come back during MAC play to see the inflatable mascots fight.

That halftime show was part of the reason we had good attendance tonight.

Ok we lose a basketball game tonight and this is what you have to complain about. Those kids probably had the time of their lives and the crowed seemed to like it as well...this is stupid.

If you are a 5/6 grader and you get to play on the convo floor you would be geeked out of your mind. Not to mention brothers/sisters mom/dad grandma/grandpa aunts/uncles cousins who came to watch you and had to sit through a half of some players not  feeling it against  a soon to be ranked  team.there were times when we got a chance to play on the convo floor(before  peggy ran us off) and trust me I was f****** psyched to just being on the floor. I don't understand how you can just go through the motions. If I'm DJ I'm looking to take my game elsewhere
