Congrats to Ted for the honor last night.  Also, he made a really nice catch on a three-point mini ball giveaway to the upper bowl.  Nice extension, soft hands, leaning over the edge and never took his eyes off the ball.  His kids gladly accepted the prize.  Well done.

Thanks, it's a nice thing the OBC does. Thanks to David Carter (former footballer and now in the Sports Ad program)  for making all the arrangements. I know you were the member of the game earlier this season. Word on the street is that some other BobcatAttack posters will be featured at upcoming games. However I do know one poster who won't be, name rhymes with mcbin.

The catch got me a hug and kiss from my 5-year-old daughter. She also said I was the greatest ever. Of course she qualified that was just for this game. Then, she started listing all the games we went to where I hadn't caught anything. But hey, as a dad you take what you can get.

And to think, it wasn't too many years ago that the department couldn't tolerate this site.  A good deal of their change in attitude can be attributed to how Ted and the others manage this outlet for Bobcat fan discussion.  Compared to the others I've occasionally checked in on, this is a very civil forum for discussion of a wide range of topics.

Congrats Ted!  It was a very nice little blurb, to use technical journalistic terminology.

I herby nominate Monroe for the next one.  The dedication with which he follows the 'Cats from the far-off Land of the Fruits and Nuts certainly deserves some recognition.

Well deserved, Ted, and especially for your even handed monitoring of what could be a much more contentious and irrational site.  Gotta say that I always think you look much younger than your expertise might suggest.  (How's that for a counter to the "Millard Filmore-look like your rants" series of posts?)

I wonder how many BA posters will end up with this honor this year?  I think the Marshall game was the first one they did.  I know that is three already (me, Ted, and Packy Moran is at least a lurker on the site) plus Ryan.  So far, so good BA representation.

There are many that contribute to the technical side of this successful forum....ie Ryan Carey and Mike Coleman.

What you need however is someone who is down-to-earth and approachable when it comes to Cat sports.  You couple this with Ted's football recruiting base and you get my vote for Bobcat Fan of the Year (Tie with G-man) if those 2 guys weren't here you probably wouldn't see me....leave they say...leave....haha.

I thought they were going to do  some sort of  banner ,,,, maybe when Miami beets us next Sunday......... YEH RIGHT .   That was more than likely the most difficult "MID-MAJOR" schedule That Ohio has had in years..31 years and dont remember when Ohio lost 5 preseason home games?!! I s was nice to see my boy Matt Hahn,, We grew up together. Billy is my GodFather..I know that was bad time but he is a good person       .MUCK......
